We all found out so many new and interesting facts about birds and we enjoyed every minute of it.

The children and staff were engaged throughout and all the children experienced a photo opportunity.

What a fantastic morning we have had in school!

Jason was brilliant with all of our children and had them engaged from beginning to end.

The children loved learning lots of new facts and interesting vocabulary and they were so excited to meet Blue, Taz, Tito, Brooklyn and Bailey.

All of the activities were thoroughly enjoyed by our children (and staff!) and they had great fun dissecting owl pellets.

We cannot wait to book again for next year.

We thought that the Falconry show was very good.

All the children loved seeing the birds and having their pictures taken with them.

It was really interesting learning about the birds of prey and how they hunt.

Everyone from Nursery up to Year had a great time.

Year 6 met them at the end of the afternoon and it was a very good show to finish our day off.

Jason kept the attention of all kids and adults for a full two hours.

Jason came to our school in the middle of our ‘Predators’ topic and right after we had focused on flying predators.

Both Year 3 classes were so engaged.

Not only did Jason have excellent behaviour management with all 60 children, he taught them many cool facts that they are still speaking about weeks later!

The variety of birds he bought with him was fantastic and each one very different, which kept the children enthused.

We also participated in a workshop, that ran very smoothly and all children loved it.

Overall, a fantastic educational day, exactly what we were looking for.

This is the third time that I have invited Jason/Falconry UK to our school and it didn’t disappoint!

We had Falconry UK visit us, to link in with our Harry Potter topic this Spring.

I can say that the whole experience was absolutely wonderful.

The children and teachers alike were mesmerised by the birds and fully engaged in the informative talk that Jason gave on the 6 owls and falcons.

Even though they had travelled extremely far to visit, they were prompt and well-organised.

All the members of staff thought they were brilliant and we can’t wait to book them again next year!

Jason catered to our unique school setting perfectly.

Taking into account our multiple EAL and SEN children, the session was delivered at a suitable pitch and pace.

His charm and charisma are second to none and you can tell he really cares for those birds as if they were his own family.

This is the first time we have booked a visit and Jason’s passion for his subject was obvious from the start – this is always an indication of how the children will be captivated and this is exactly what happened.

The birds were beautiful, so intelligent and happy, and Falconry UK has gone to extreme lengths to ensure the shows were safe and run according to Covid rules.

Not easy at a time like this, and we will definitely be asking Jason to come back.

The children absolutely loved it and the amount of curriculum topics this covered was brilliant.

It was an absolute pleasure having Falconry UK in and the staff and children had an amazing day – just what we needed returning fully to school.

The cost was also very reasonable – thank you Jason for visiting; your work is amazing and so important for our next generation to learn about.

This is the second year in a row we’ve had Falconry UK visit Highgate Primary School, but the first time on Zoom.

It was almost as thrilling seeing the birds remotely as meeting them in person.

Interacting with them on-line allows you to get up really close to the birds, which is an extraordinary experience.

My Year 4 class absolutely loved their session today to kick off our topic on Flight.

Jason really knows his stuff and provides a wealth of information in a very accessible way.

He shared about 6 birds, all of whom were like avian film stars – beautiful, exotic and full of personality.

It’s wonderful to see his lovely relationships with them all.

The only thing that could have improved it would have been to see them all fly – next year?

I can’t recommend a visit highly enough – whether in person or on line.

During this lockdown, finding ways to help make the children’s learning experience rich and varied is not always easy.

Falconry UK was a wonderful solution.

The boys were able to see some wonderful birds and Jason told them all about them.

My class listened to every word and their facial expressions told me how much they got out of it.

Jason gave a thoroughly informative and professional display of some of his more unusual feathered friends.

He has an amazing connection with the birds who were all stars.

I would not hesitate to recommend Jason to anyone looking for great entertainment.

Jason came into school for the second year in a row to share a variety of birds and owls which linked brilliantly with our topic.

He was knowledgeable, friendly and brilliant with the children.

They were enthralled throughout the entire session and came away armed with increased knowledge and hands-on experience, enhancing previous learning whilst supporting what we have planned ahead.

Having seen sessions pre-Covid and mid-lockdown, I can honestly say that the Covid-safe amendments to the session did not limit the enjoyment or learning for the children.

I booked a private display in my garden, during COVID, as there was not an opportunity to go out to places like I normally would.

Jason was immediately in contact via e-mail and replied quickly to everything I asked.

We had to rearrange suddenly due to the firebreak lockdown, but Jason got new dates, worked around the wet weather and eventually we managed to go ahead today.

It was absolutely fantastic.

Jason was punctual, set up quickly in the garden for us two, then immediately got us chatting and thinking about the features of the first bird.

He’s so knowledgable and passionate about the birds and answered all of our many, many questions!

He had great visual aids and loads of information about the birds.

He was also exceptionally professional around taking temperatures, sanitising and social distancing.

I felt like I had a bird park in my garden and it was like being back to “normal” enjoying a day out.

I’d really recommend this as a party experience, or like me, a bit of treat during COVID restrictions.

You will not be disappointed.

The birds were all excellent, clearly happy and well cared for and I cannot recommend the experience enough!

For our Early Years classes we were learning about owls.

I booked him last min during the COVID-19 times and he was very prompt and professional with everything and he brought in some amazing birds of prey!

It was just enough for the little ones, even though we all braved the cold and did it outside!

The children thoroughly enjoyed it and were talking about it days after!
